We are excited to announce the release of Version 2.5. This update focuses on addressing bugs, stability, and improvements in how our web and mobile applications process routes.
Here's what's new in iPreFlight Genesis PRO 2.5:
Company Preferred Route Icon Enabled on Mobile:
Users will now be able to see the Company Preferred Route icon in the mobile application, which was previously missing. Additionally, users can choose to filter the returned routes list to only see the Company Preferred routes.
Automatic EOBT Update for Drafts:
When opening a draft with an EOBT date/time in the past, the system will now automatically update it to the current time +1 hour. Users will receive a cautionary alert to ensure they are aware of the EOBT update.
Route List Improvements:
When online, users will only see a DCT generated by the app, and the routes will populate from the online route generators.
When offline, users will see the DCT and the device-generated route. The device-generated route will be limited to offline use for planning purposes, with the expectation that users will use an online generated route for flight execution.
STAY Functionality for European Users:
European users can now manually add a STAY to their flight online and on mobile.
Modify Filed Flight Plans:
Users can now open an active filed flight, make a change to the ETD, and tap "Modify Filed" to submit a change to ATC for the flight plan.
