Flight Planning

Automate your process and get optimal performance data in under 3 minutes with iPreFlight Genesis PRO’s integrated flight planning tools.

Flight Plan Calculations Made Effortless

With intelligent technology at your fingertips, your business saves fuel, reduces costs and is always in compliance.

Our advanced flight planning software accurately directs aircraft to the fastest route possible and offers flight planning for IFR and VFR flights.

We use manufacturers’ operational data, in conjunction with current and forecasted weather conditions to calculate the fuel required for the flight, including fuel burn (optimized for minimum fuel or time), fuel for reserves, alternates, and holding.

ETOPS/EDTO

Operators with EDTO/ETOPS approval can now utilize iPreFlight Genesis®️ PRO to plan and file compliant routes for aircraft with two, three, or four engines. In the flight planning function, pilots can prepare their route and display threshold circles on the flight map. Pilots can specify airports to calculate the EDTO Entry Point (EEP) and Exit Point (EXP), marking the portions of the route beyond the EDTO threshold. Additionally, pilots can calculate four emergency fuel scenarios, ensuring comprehensive planning and compliance.

Aeronautical Charts / Plates

Access over 10,400 airports and 111,000 charts covering over 160 countries included in iPreFlight Genesis PRO today! Review geo-referenced IAPs, SIDs, STARs, Airport Diagrams, and Airport Diagrams/Directory documents preflight or inflight in our integrated flight planning solution.

Standard Instrument Departure (SID) Analyzer

APG's SID Analyzer allows pilots to analyze climb requirements for both All-Engine-Operational (AEO) and Engine-Out (OEI) scenarios, ensuring confident decision-making during critical departure phases, optimizing climb performance while adhering to strict TERPS/PANS-OPS compliance. The SID Analyzer empowers pilots with real-time data to ensure the safety of their passengers and crew.

Graphical Engine-Out Procedures

In the event of an engine failure, you need a plan. Our Engine Out Procedures (EOPs) are tailored to reduce crew workload while minimizing obstacle and terrain constraints and now available in a graphical format on our integrated flight plan. APG custom EOPs, with established Standard Instrument Departures (SIDs), assure a smooth transition from a normal departure to an engine out escape route.

Weather & NOTAMS

Stay abreast of relevant weather conditions as they change, including Worldwide METARs, TAFs and NOTAMs and radar imagery for composite U.S. and site radar for cities across the U.S., updated every five minutes.

Safety Alerts

Put your safety at the forefront with audio and visual alerts for situational awareness, including aircraft navigation equipment & emergency equipment restrictions, aircraft certification restrictions, and dynamically reported airspace restrictions.

User Imposed Constraints

Our flight planning technology features worldwide air navigation data and aircraft climb, cruise and descent capabilities. We go one step further, allowing users to impose routing, vertical and speed constraints.

Terrain and Obstacle Heights

APG uses global high-resolution terrain and obstacle data to highlight dangerous terrain.
